IT Help Desk Technician (Part-Time)

Graybox is looking for a part-time IT Help Desk Technician who will provide technical support to employees, both in person and remotely. The IT Help Desk Technician must have excellent customer skills and a passion for problem solving. This contract position will be ongoing, up to 15 hours per week.

Candidates will have a high level of customer service and a tech savvy nature, as well as the ability to communicate proficiently over the phone, chat, and in person. Candidates with prior help desk experience are preferred but various types of customer service or technical support related experience will be considered as well.


Requirements

  • Setting up new employee workstations and laptops

  • System onboarding/offboarding for employee and contractor moves/adds/changes

  • Assist with software access issues

  • Software license management

  • Quickly prioritize and respond to all calls and emails, identifying problems and providing expedient technical assistance for all computer related issues, including service workstations and other equipment for users through remote support techniques

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, CIS or related field preferred; Experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.

  • 1-2 years of related technical helpdesk and customer experience, including:
    • Computer and software set up

    • Software license management

    • Installation and support of various applications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.

  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems.

  • Must be able to manage time effectively.

  • Must be local to Portland, OR
