What was your favorite TV show when growing up? Why?
Growing up in Mexico City, I was an avid Soap Opera watcher. ‘Telenovelas’ are so much fun, they are dramatic, they have grandiose story lines, and some of the best characters become cultural icons. In the 80’s, Mexico City stopped buzzing, and everyone went inside their living rooms to watch their favorite telenovela. It was a communal experience, a cultural bond that defined a moment-in-time. One of my favorites is ‘Cuna de Lobos,’ Catalina Creel was the best.
