Sr. Project Manager
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
Sean’s story began on the East Coast and over the course of three decades has brought him all the way to the West Coast with many stops along the way. He’s lived all over the country from Texas, California, Alabama, just to name a few. He graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and spent the better part of his 20’s in the Army and abroad. Normally he’s a funny guy and likes to socialize with others. People seem to like him, if he says so himself.
Sean begin his career on the design side working on creating websites and company collateral like posters and ads. He quickly realized half the fun was actually building the websites so he started learning the ropes and how to take his designs and turn them into internet reality. This dual-headed nature really helped him get his footing in the mid-2000s internet growth and led to him joining many different technology teams along the way. Sean has worked in hosting, healthcare, marketing, digital agencies, and many other industries. He’s been in the trenches (so-to-speak) working on dev sites as well as in more leadership-oriented positions helping to grow products from conception to launch. His background in business has helped him start and sell his first company, a digital agency building large-scale ERP applications and learn how to adapt partner’s digital needs into business value.
Outside of his love of building new things, Sean spends a ton of time with his family. Since he’s new to the Northwest, he’s looking forward to exploring everything Portland has to offer and enjoying having 4 seasons for once.
If you had to live off of one type of food forever, what would that be and why?
I'm pretty sure I can survive on whatever is in the "right" cup from Indian Jones and the Last Crusade. That seems like a solid choice.
