The Engage Conference PDX- formerly Searchfest - is March 9th, 2017 and will be held at the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland. This year's conference will feature keynote speeches from Matthew Gardener of the Portland Trailblazers and Cindy Krum of Mobile Moxie as well as talks and presentations from other local national leaders in search and marketing include Raven, Stone Temple Consulting and Moz. The morning keynote from Matthew Gardener will be on how the Trailblazers marketing team has not only adapted to the changing landscape of digital communication with their fanbase, but become industry leaders for the last two years. The afternoon keynote will explore the inclusion of voice assistants like the Amazon Echo and Google Home in SEO. How does one, exactly get a website ranked when there are no URLs to deal with? Cindy Krum will lead this presentation on the future of SEO. This year, topics will include everything search related from how to deal with the rise in voice and assistant - Amazon Echo and Google Home - searches to content strategies and how to engage your community with creative content.
