Ecommerce
Ecommerce is a never-ending process of optimization, feature development, brand building, and experimentation. We help you set up and manage a sustainable cycle to keep your sales engine going.
Customer-First Commerce
Modern commerce is channel-agnostic: you need to take a customer-first approach to be able to excel at effective customer engagement, conversions, and higher lifetime value. Our team understands all facets of an ecommerce or omni-channel business. We help you succeed with your platform, marketplaces, campaigns, designs, customer loyalty, warehousing, fulfillment, and back office systems.
Adobe Commerce / Magento
Focused on the upper end of the mid-market, Adobe Commerce offers a balance of performance, flexibility, and scale that is hard to meet in today's demanding ecommerce landscape. GRAYBOX builds Adobe Commerce the right way to allow your business to grow painlessly.
BigCommerce
The mid-market has matured in the last few years and BigCommerce is well-positioned within it. Their platform balances simplicity, flexibility, and scale to excel with growing businesses as well as meet the needs of the expanding enterprise market.
Shopify & Shopify Plus
Time to market is key. Shopify's ecommerce offerings afford straightforward implementations, access to a rich app store of plugins, and great design templates to be able to launch something quickly and without breaking the bank.
Ecommerce Store Implementation
Creating a branded ecommerce experience from the ground up can be a challenge, considering all the moving pieces and technologies that need to be brought online to make a site work effectively.
Managed Ecommerce
Hiring an entire ecommerce and marketing team to grow as a business can be a challenge. Managed ecommerce takes a one-stop-shop approach in which the GRAYBOX team can monitor, manage, and market the growing ecommerce merchant.
Amazon Marketplace
Amazon has over 70 million customers and represents a unique growth opportunity for your ecommerce business. Our team offers solutions to help you have an advantage.
Omnichannel Strategy
Customers no longer fall into neat shopping silos. They want products, when they want it, via the channel they want it from. Companies need to take a more holistic and omni-channel approach to thinking about the experience we are delivering for your customers.
Netsuite SuiteCommerce SiteBuilder
NetSuite's standard ecommerce experience, SiteBuilder, is a simple way to demonstrate products and accept transactions if you are already running NetSuite.
Ongoing Store Support / Ecommerce Adoptions
If another company designed and/or built your current store, know that we regularly adopt these stores like they are our own. We're happy to provide support, maintenance and feature improvements for stores that we didn't originally build.
B2B Ecommerce
B2B customers are just like consumer customers but with more sophisticated decision-making criteria.
Consumer (B2C) Ecommerce
The number of consumer ecommerce websites is growing rapidly. It’s vital to stand out from the pack and evolve in response to user behavior.
Omnichannel Ecommerce
Your customers are everywhere, they expect your store to be as well.
Loyalty Programs and Rewards Strategy
With 40% of ecommerce revenue coming from returning customers, there is clear value in brands building loyalty with a dedicated customer base. Loyalty and rewards program on ecommerce websites can play a key role in keeping customers engaged with the brand and coming back again and again.
Holistic Ecommerce Done Right
Ecommerce is a delicate balance of fantastic design, secure technology, product merchandising, branded storytelling, digital marketing, back-office optimizations, and continuous site improvement and maintenance. To do it well, you need a holistic team with a blend of different skill sets.
We get that sometimes you might need a bespoke, personalized, and dynamic storefront that will wow your customers and build brand loyalty — while another client-partner might just need a simple site they can get up quickly and sell some product. We also understand that the worlds of B2C and B2B commerce are vastly different. The GRAYBOX ecommerce practice is intentionally flexible so we can serve you well and do exactly what you need (and nothing that you don't).
Day-to-day, we work with these platforms:
- Magento (Open Source and Commerce)
- BigCommerce
- Shopify & Shopify Plus
- Network Webstore & NetSuite SuiteCommerce
- Amazon Seller Central
- A smorgasbord of other Ecom platforms (WooCommerce, Drupal Commerce, LemonTree, Volusion, Spree, etc)
We also are always working on various strategic ecommerce initiatives, such as:
- Omni-Channel (Web, Mobile, POS, & Social storefronts)
- Customer Tracking & Engagement
- Buyer & Customer Insights
- Loyalty & Rewards
- Gamification Dynamics
- Data Integrations
As ecommerce evolves daily, we work closely with our marketing, content, design, and applications teams to ensure that our client-partners always have a compelling experience that highlights their products in the best possible light. Like our marketing practice, we also take a test-driven approach to our ecommerce work, so we meet frequently to define next steps, refine the current plan, and learn from the results.
Our ecommerce practice typically works on a monthly ongoing retainer model, but we also do work on a time & materials or per-project basis. We've also had more creative engagement models in the past. Day-to-day, our ecommerce team lives in Jira and Confluence and uses a modified agile approach to project management — typically issuing routine website releases every 2 or 4 weeks.
While we love the opportunity to build a new storefront from scratch, we understand that modern ecommerce sites require a more iterative process. As such, most of our clients come to us via an adoption process, where we take over the design, development, and maintenance of their story from another internal or external team.
