GRAYBOX wins UX/UI Communicator Awards for NWP Kaiser

By GRAYBOX Alumni

The Communicator Award is the leading international awards program for marketing and communication and this year, they have awarded GRAYBOX two awards of distinction for our work with Kaiser Permanente. We were awarded both the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) awards for the Doctor Review NW Permanente website that we built. Judged and sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, GRAYBOX won these distinctions for "exceeding industry standards in quality and achievement."

Kaiser Permanente asked for our help in making a site that served several purposes for five different user types. It needed to help various audience segments of patients and healthcare professionals find specific physicians as well as browse and discover new ones. We also wanted the main page for each physician to serve as a landing page for that health care professional, and come up on the first page of Google search results for queries including the physician's name.

Our work resulted in a highly SEO optimized website that functions as desired, and serves up an intuitive UI. Among the features, users can search and sort using several filter mechanisms to locate the right Kaiser Permanente physician even if they don't know their name, leave and view ratings on the physician from patients and colleagues, and view and submit comments about each physician. Our client partner is happy as the website has proven to be a convenient tool for physicians to refer colleagues, and a useful vehicle for patients to find the right doctor.

We'd like to thank Kaiser Permanente for trusting us to be your digital technology consulting partner, and congratulate everyone who had a hand in making this excellent website!
